Not every client is for us. Not every vendor is for you.

Let's face it. Planning a wedding is not for the faint of heart. You do not know where to start and is hearing different things from your family and friends who are already married. What you should be doing though is PLAN YOUR DREAM WEDDING. NOT YOUR MOM'S, NOT YOUR COUSIN'S, and NOT YOUR BEST FRIEND'S, BUT YOURS.

Where do we begin? You and your fiance should first come up with a realistic budget. You do not want to rush into this. Take your time! You have an eternity together. And if there are unforeseen circumstances that is making you rush your special day; do not worry. Plan something small, then celebrate big later.

As a former Bride, Wedding Planner + Photographer, and a Bankruptcy Paralegal, KNOW YOUR FINANCES. You do not want to go into debt over a wedding!

TAKE YOUR TIME. Schedule consultations, read positive and negative reviews (YES, EVEN NEGATIVE - there's 2 sides to a review), and ask to check out portfolios. And understand that EVERY WEDDING, EVERY PERSON, and EVERY ONE is different. To each their own. So do not be afraid to express what you are looking for and honestly -- hiring a Wedding Planner is WORTH. EVERY. PENNY.

When working with a Wedding Planner, you are working with someone who KNOWS the vendors, (THE RECOMMENDED VENDORS), and who knows the business first hand. This is typically, YOUR FIRST RODEO, but NOT THEIRS'.

And never forget; ENJOY THE RIDE. Planning goes by fast. Lastly, DO NOT FORGET TO ENJOY YOUR WEDDING! Every second of it. Not every detail will go as planned (accept it or you will be upset), and IT IS GOING TO BE OKAY TO CRY!
